Athletic's Stadium

Las Vegas

The New Las Vegas Stadium, a planned retractable roof ballpark located at the site of the Tropicana Las Vegas in Paradise, Nevada, is set to become the new home for the Oakland Athletics from the 2028 MLB season onward.

With a projected capacity for over 30,000 spectators, it will be one of the cozier venues in the league, offering fans a more intimate baseball experience. The project, showcasing a blend of modern design and functionality, is a $1.5 billion investment set to transform the Las Vegas sports scene.

Initiated after a legislative approval in 2023, this venue symbolizes a new chapter for the Athletics, who will relocate from Oakland, marking a significant shift in Major League Baseball dynamics.

The stadium's design, by Schrock KC Architecture, envisages a modern-day coliseum intertwining with the vibrant ethos of Las Vegas. Besides hosting baseball games, the venue encapsulates a 1,500-room hotel and a casino, portraying a fusion of sports, entertainment, and hospitality.

The stadium's journey, from initial negotiations to groundbreaking designs, reflects a saga of collaboration, vision, and the relentless spirit of baseball.
